Have you received a diagnosis for dementia? Or do you suspect you or a loved one has dementia? There are many online resources available to help support you or your loved one in this journey. Below we have listed some of them:

 

Alzheimer’s Association: https://www.alz.org/

The AA is a fantastic resource. On their website you can find local professionals or support options, educational content, information about recent studies, and a 24/7 helpline.

 

The Caregiver Alliance: https://www.caregiver.org/caregiver-resources/all-resources/ 

The Caregiver Alliance has resources specifically for those who care for an older person. They provide advice and support options that may be relevant for you. Their website has many resources, such as video series and access to support groups.

The By Us For Us guides are information guides by and for people living with dementia and care partners. The guides are designed to provide people living with dementia and care partners with necessary information and strategies to manage daily challenges and enhance their well-being.

 

Clinical Trials: https://clinicaltrials.gov/  

ClinicalTrials.gov is a website where you can find current clinical research trials recruiting people with dementia. Locate information about a trial’s purpose, who may participate, locations, phone numbers and whether a trial is still recruiting.
